Bustin' Asses and Recruiting
Posted by Knubb on Tuesday, January 20, 2009 (14:26:30) (26 reads)
It's been awhile, huh? It sure didn't take long for our raiding crew to hit 80 and start clamoring for the heads of the Lich King's ugliest followers. Naxx has been a lot of fun so far, and, at the moment, we are working on slapping around Sapphiron. Things are going well, and it's been a real pleasure to raid new content again.
In other news, we are recruiting a few people to round out our class make-up in 10-man raids. So tell your friends, and if you are joining us because of the post on the Shadowsong realm forums: Welcome! To your left there is a button to register. Do so, please, and once your account is set up (doesn't take long at all), then hop over into our forums and post an application!
See you all in Northrend!

Countdown to WotLK!
Posted by Knubb on Tuesday, November 11, 2008 (23:21:14) (35 reads)
Our Warhammer escapades have ended in shambles, so what are we to do? Well, bust WotLK, of course!
We even have swanky new tabards to go along with the size of our new members. Wait, what?
Nevermind.
Watch the fuck out, Arthas. The Stuffy Guys are back and badder than ever.

Welcome to the new site!
Posted by Knubb on Tuesday, September 16, 2008 (16:55:06) (41 reads)
Massive kudos to Skutilla for designing such an awesome site. There are still small fixes to make here and there, but the site has launched and should be fully functional.
Let the games begin!

Site Changes
Posted by Knubb on Monday, September 15, 2008 (03:20:09) (38 reads)
As I am sure you can tell, the site is changing and will change considerably over the next few days. So if things look weird or just don't work at all, don't worry
The WAR site will hopefully be launched by Thursday. Stay tuned!

WAR is coming!
Posted by Knubb on Sunday, August 31, 2008 (15:21:11) (52 reads)
Long time, no update, huh?
Not much has changed on the WoW front with the ex-members of the Stuffy Guys. They are scattered all over WoW, but, I'm sure, rocking it well wherever they have ended up.
On to more important matters. Some of us, including a decent amount of SG's old leadership, are getting geared up to join the lands of Warhammer Online come September 18th. This website will become a hybrid between new WAR guild activities and old WoW connections between friends.
Small warning: Things may change considerably around the site, though, as a new guild is formed for WAR, which will not carry the Stuffy Guys' name.
WAAAGH!

The End
Posted by Knubb on Tuesday, June 10, 2008 (20:46:28) (57 reads)
When we began the Stuffy Guys, we were nothing but five friends looking to recruit a few fine folks and bust some blocks in Karazhan. Never in a million years did we think that our humble little guild would take off and become a powerhouse of destruction across the World of Warcraft endgame. Granted, our last boss kill was Lady Vashj, but I would have taken SG and put them next to any guild in the game and expected nothing less than heads held high and middle fingers rightly extended.
But all things must come to an end, especially the good ones. I was proud every single day to call myself the guild leader of Stuffy Guys, and I wish that everything could have worked out. Unfortunately, WoW's raiding endgame doesn't facilitate the most healthy of situations in-game or out.
Oh well. We rocked it well for over a year and kicked ass with a finesse that I came to realize was not typical among the guilds in this game. Though we are disbanding, a new guild is being worked on and expected to rise from SG's ashes, so any of you that were interested in joining Stuffy Guys, look up the new guild that is being hammered out as we speak. I trust they will carry on the traditions that made Stuffy Guys the wonderful guild it was, and contributed to the fine community we ultimately established.
I will leave you all with the first logo that we created for the SG website. It may not be as fancy as the one that graces the top of this page, but by God, it symbolizes the beginning of what became a special place to me, and one that will only bring a smile to my face for years to come. Thanks for the memories, guys.

Lady Vashj STOMPED OUT! SSC cleared!
Posted by Knubb on Tuesday, May 13, 2008 (01:40:52) (44 reads)
When we killed A'lar and decided to head back to SSC for Vashj, we figured it would take some time. Two months? Jesus, hopefully not. Two weeks? More realistic, but that is quite a bit of time on one boss. Two days? Good lord, Optimistic Ollie.
But guess what?
Four hours, spread over two nights, and Vashj's wriggly-headed ass lay CRUMPLED underneath our goddamn feet.

One boss lies between us and T6.
And I bet he is sweatin'.

Zul'jin Downed and Zul'Aman Cleared!
Posted by Knubb on Saturday, May 10, 2008 (02:30:16) (54 reads)
It's about damn time we went back to Zul'Aman and finished what we started. Hex Lord turned out to be a joke, though Zul'jin's fucking Phase 3 of Insanity managed to cause a few problems. But, in the end, we gave him the damn business too.
Raid members were Knubb, Digglesworth, Homeskillz, Pirouettes, Link, Duckle, Sta, Aether, Nayle, and Alyxandria.
Great job, guys.

Stuffy Guys drop A'lar like he's hot! 5/6 SSC, 3/4 TK!
Posted by Knubb on Tuesday, April 29, 2008 (01:54:27) (57 reads)
Need I say more? We have reached the precipice of T5 content and are ready to sufficiently stomp it out before moving on.

Lady Vashj, here we come.
(P.S. If you think the headline is dumb, thank Digglesworth. It was his contribution.)

Solariwhat? Four new bosses in eight days!
Posted by Knubb on Tuesday, April 22, 2008 (02:10:32) (76 reads)
Once again, for the second week in a row, we gave a few bosses the one-two punch. Last Sunday, Leo felt our vengeful wrath, with Fathom-Lord crumpling beneath our shoes the following night. And now, a week later, we have dug our nails into the Wall of Progression and erased both Void Reaver and High Astromancer Solarian.

A'lar better watch his ass, because the Stuffy Guys are coming.
